Veterinary dog kennel assistants
Responsible for the day to day care of patients and boarders. This includes feeding, watering, cleaning, walking, bathing, and monitoring the well being of dogs. Kennel assistants must have sufficient physical strength, mobility, and stamina to lift and/or move heavy pets and objects, the dexterity and confidence to administer pet medications, and the ability to monitor dogs for signs of distress or disease.
It is essential that they have the ability and willingness to learn and the desire to provide gentle, compassionate care for boarded and daycare pets. Kennel experience is not always a prerequisite for this position. A more in depth job description will be provided at the interview.
Doggy Daycare Office Manager
Under the direction and supervision of the owner, the office manager is responsible for organizing, training, and supervising the front office staff.
Including receptionists, assistants, and bookkeepers. Tasks include establishing protocols for scheduling appointments; creating and maintaining medical records; managing the client and patient database; receiving, handling, and depositing the revenue; and handling accounts receivable.
The office manager must provide effective leadership, assist and support the practice manager, and handle customer and community relations. The office manager should possess a college degree or a minimum of twelve semester hours of business related course material, and have a minimum of two years office management experience. Computer skills are required. A more detailed job description will be provided at the interview.
Dog Trainer
Dog obedience trainers’ needs to have experience with puppy training and puppy socialization. Also should have experience with dog behavioral modification techniques. The trainer should be familiar in these areas as we do offer these Classes: puppy kindergarten, adult dog obedience, dog behavioral modification, and dog temperament testing.
Dog Groomer
Must have a professional dog styling certificate or at least 1 yr of experience with grooming • experience in dog massage preferred.
